Second International Knot Exhibition 1985

The second international decorative knot exhibition was held in Taiwan
with Japan and Korea participating.


The location is a guess based on a machine translation of the name
in Korean (대만 국립역사박물관 ~= Taiwan National History Museum).
Based on a search in 2019, there are 3 candidates, the "National
Museum of History", "National Museum of Taiwan History", and
"National Taiwan Museum". The NMoTH is in Tainan where the other
two are in Taipei. I'm guessing the NMoH to be the correct
location, but could easily be wrong.


More guessing: To determine who hosted the event, I'm going to need
to do optical character recognition (OCR) and (machine) translate
the text of the event book that I have. I will go back and
do that, but I'd like to get this set of posts out first before I
bog down in that activity. So, I'm going to guess the Taiwan Hand
Knitting and Crafts Association since they are the the ones that
test and officially certify Chinese Knotting instructors.
